Artists on Screen: Free Summer Film Series at New Renaissance Arts Center

Join us this July for Artists on Screen, a free five-night film series celebrating the lives and works of legendary artists through cinema. Every Thursday evening at 7:00 PM, the New Renaissance Arts Center of NY invites you to gather with fellow art and film lovers at 323 East 33rd Street, New York, NY, for a journey into the passion, mystery, and genius of some of history’s most iconic painters.

Each screening highlights a different master of visual art:

• July 3 – Raphael: The Lord of the Arts (2017)
• July 10 – El Greco (2007)
• July 17 – Caravaggio’s Shadow (2024)
• July 24 – Goya’s Ghost (2006)
• July 31 – At Eternity’s Gate (2018), on Vincent van Gogh

Come early, grab a seat, and enjoy an interesting movie in a welcoming space where community and culture come together. Whether you’re a devoted art enthusiast or simply curious, this is an opportunity to share conversation, inspiration, and cinematic storytelling.

Admission is free (10 seats reserved for walk-ins!), and donations are warmly appreciated to support our ongoing community programs.
